A Love Letter to All That You Are

Spam Filter For Your Brain - Episode 124

Every week on this podcast, I try and give you little tips and tricks to help you examine some of the stories that you're telling yourself in your brain and in your life, and especially in your relationships, how you interact with other people, in the hope that it's going to give you some little insight into how you can understand yourself better and so how hopefully you can live your life with more clarity and more ease.

This week's podcast is different because it's just one thought I want to leave you with. And that thought is, I tell you all of this stuff because I believe that you have the answers that you need to be able to free yourself from some of the self sabotage that hold you back, some of the stuff that we have been taught and conditioned into trying to play small so that we can fit in, be more palatable, and frankly, quite a lot of us so that we can feel a bit more safe.

I want to tell you this week, all weeks, the underlying message of everything I'm trying to convey here is that if I believe in you this hard, I believe you can relearn this stuff. We were taught it, that means that we can unlearn it.

If I can leave all of these little nuggets for you to be able to take the ones that serve you and hopefully offer you some different perspective on ways to free yourself and bring more joy, more ease, and live a life that feels more carefree.

If I can leave you this stuff because you can do that for yourself, that means someone believes in you that hard. Someone believes that you can do this for yourself. Someone believes you deserve joy, that you deserve a life that is full of ease, things you desire, complexity, confusion, fun, exploration, curiosity. I want this for you, and I believe that it's possible for you. And if I believe this, this hard for you personally, listening to this right now, (honestly, there aren't that many people that subscribe to this podcast, love it to be more, tell your friends about it), but there aren't that many of you like, I see the numbers of the people who listen to each episode. So I'm really speaking to you personally right now. If I believe in you this hard, then that means that someone believes in you, right?

And if someone believes in you, maybe you could be one of those people.

What would your life look like if you believed in yourself with the level of like love and conviction that I hope radiates out of these podcasts for you to be living the kind of life that you want, the life on your terms, the life that feels like the whole adventure is on your side when obstacles come up that you're like, damn, what's this bit going to teach me? Cause from here, when we get through this bit, it's gonna be amazing.

And it is all amazing because you exist in it. There is no one in the whole of history who has the same chemical makeup, emotional experience, way of articulating things, and loves the things and the people that you love, the way that you love and experience things. There is a unique place in the universe that only you have occupied, and that is a phenomenal, phenomenal gift.

I hope that some of these podcasts enable you to see that for yourself, because that's what I see with every single person who comes onto one of my calls, people that I come across, people that I love, people in my life. There is a special, precious place for all of us. And the more of us that are able to have the courage to put down some of the old nonsense that holds ourselves back and keeps ourselves small, the more space there is for more love in the world, for more people, more people like us, and more people with a variety of differences to us.

This is what I wish for you.

This week is less like a podcast and more like a love letter. I wish you well. I wish you well in everything that you're doing. And I hope that these missives every week into your ears serve to remind you that you are precious and worthy, just as you are. You don't need to change anything.

And if there are some things that you would like to maybe, perhaps work on a little bit, that's only for your own adventures, and not because you're inadequate or in any way wrong, just as you are.

I leave this with you. May you have a really, really blessed week.
