Going back through old photographs and I realised I hd not blogged about this glorious photoshoot creating portraits for Arielle.
What I love about these photographs is that in the lead up to getting ready, I asked her to sit in the velvet chair by the fridge in the kitchen in the studio and something about the pose, the lighting and the atmosphere turned the bunch of dried flowers in the fireplace into an old masters painting. They are real flowers in the fireplace, but it adds such a depth and element to the images.
